I have a strong belief that mental health care should always feel compassionate, practical, and personal. I feel like my work is about helping people step out of cycles of anxiety, trauma, and mood struggles so they can feel more present, balanced, and confident in their daily lives. I pride myself on listening deeply, caring thoughtfully, and advocating fiercely for my patients’ mental wellness. 🌼 Partnering with you, not just prescribing to you.
Outside of Insight Psychiatry, I have a passion for hospice and palliative care and work with a nonprofit hospice program, to assist patients and families in accessing comfort care. You might also find me planning to attend my next live music event (I’m a big fan of indie rock, post-hardcore, and pop punk) or enjoying family time with my husband and kids at the Orlando area parks. I’m also a
lifelong learner, always diving into new research so I can bring the best evidence-based care and understanding to my patients.
I like to combine medication management with education, coping tools, and therapeutic coaching so that my patients can feel empowered to take charge of their own progress. I welcome patients from all walks of life and at every stage, but I have a special passion for supporting women who are juggling careers, caregiving, and personal growth, as well as children and teens navigating today’s post-COVID, tech-driven but socially disconnected world.
Every member of our team is also a parent, we understand the importance of treating children when it comes to mental health needs. Many pediatricians do not have the experience with medication management to comfortably treat children when it comes to some psychiatric medications. Anna accepts patients of all ages for mental health evaluations and medication management.
